What will a
database give me?
Each
database will give you a list of articles that match your search
terms. The list may include full text, abstracts, citations,
and Find it links; however, not every database will include these all
of the time.
 |
Full
text
Sometimes the database will link to the complete text
of the article. If it doesn't, don't give up! There
are other ways to find the full text. |
 |
Abstract
summarizes the article's content. Read this first.
It will quickly show whether the article is useful. |
 |
Citation
The citation will provide the information that you need
to find the article when it's not full text. |
 |
Find it
When
the full text is not available through the database, there may
be an Find it button to click on. It will find the article's nearest
full text location. |
